There is no difference except the color. Some people beleive that the platnium will be a collectors item in the future because not as many where made. But if you are only buying it to play games, it really doesn't matter.

just the color or the silver one is the newest one? i just bought black one should i have bought the silver one since both were for same $. any advice?
...As far as I know it's just a color preference. I know that Panasonic made their own version back when it was new that was silver and never released in the US that would play DVDs. But it did cost a lot more.
So, to answer your question as best I can, I don't think there's any difference.
You don't have to use a Wii remote for Sonic Unleashed, and I like the Gamecube controls much better. Can anyone who's played the game tell me if there's an option to use the Gamecube controller? Thanks guys!

I'd probably say it is around $50-$75 for the bunch. It's an old system and being that the Wii can play all Gamecube games, it really dropped the price of what it is worth. It also depends on what games you have. Regular games would be somewhere in the vicinity of $2-$3. If you have stuff like Goldeneye 007, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Super Smash Bros., etc. then those would be around $10, maybe slightly more. The accessories you don't even have to worry about as most of them aren't worth anything.

Gamecube games in black and white........
Wiigator's gamecube backup launcher 0.2 loads my pal game in black and white, the game is Super Mario Sunshine and my firmware is 4.2U and its a NTSC Wii, the screen is black and white and the ratio is messed up, its too big and parts of the game are out the screen, I searched every forum and even googled it, it seems there isn't a known fix for the error just yet, I tried all the settings and even tried launching it through Neogamma r7 and now using Neogamma r8 beta 8, any help would be appreciated. even suggestions would help me out, I used DVD-RW+ and people say that the disk isn't the problem.
